Stephen James Consulting are pleased to be hiring for a RGN Deputy Home Manager for a large nursing home, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for:
Assisting the Home Manager with the day to day organisation and effective running of the home
Providing leadership and management to the staff in the absence of the Home Manager
Supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the service users person centred plans are reviewed as agreed
Supporting the Manager in monitoring the training and development needs of staff
Investigate, make decisions and take remedial action in respect of complaints, at the appropriate level and as indicated within the Complaints policy in the absence of the Home Manager
To be considered for this role of RGN Deputy Home Manager you will need the following experience:
RGN / RMN Holding a registration with the NMC / Current PIN, have a minimum of Level 3 Health and Social care, although anyone with a Level 4 or 5 would be desirable
Essential to be a resilient individual, who has strong evidence and background within Nursing care
Must have people management experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Safeguarding
Staff management experience including sickness monitoring, staff issues and annual leave in line with company guidelines
Excellent knowledge of current CQC guidelines and be able to follow them

This role is offering a competitive Salary and Benefits Package which depending on candidate experience - £34,000- £37,000
