One of the largest not for profit organisations within the UK, we are currently looking for a specialist healthcare professional with management experience to join a brand new facility in Salisbury. This state of the art, luxury facility has been specifically designed with Dementia service users in mind - there are purpose built features unique to this site, including a colourful range of shops and amenities inside the building! This is just an example of how the organisation put the service users first and everything is done with them in mind.
This role of General manager is working in a senior capacity to a 2016 facility - you will be the responsible individual for 120 service users across two wings within this large facility. You will be directly responsible for 2 registered managers.
If you are a Registered Manager with a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership or Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with a background of Dementia care, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with an absolute clean slate. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a facility with only a short history, with an exceptional long term chance for an experienced manager who enjoys a challenge and really put their own mark on the facility.
You will be responsible for the financial, operational and management qualities within the care centre, including overseeing recruitment and sales. You will be positioned to succeed - you will have the backing of a national provider with resources at your fingertips, while also being given the trust and autonomy to really make your own move on the role.
