I am currently recruiting for a Children's Home Deputy Manager for my client in Southampton.
My client is one of the largest childcare providers nationwide (therefore room for progression), this particular home is a 3/4 bedded service caring for children aged 11 - 18 with an EBD background.
As the Children's Home Deputy Manager you will cover in the absence of the Registered Manager who is soon going on Maternity Leave, therefore you will be the acting manager for this period. As the Deputy you will obviously be reporting into the Registered Manager and Regional Manager, overseeing the Senior Support Workers and Support Workers.
The ideal Children's Home Deputy Manager will hold the NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People, along with a couple of years experience working in a residential childrens setting.
