I am working on behalf of a very reputable children's and adult service provider that requires a new Care Co-ordinator for their Southport based branch.
This company is one of the UK's most forward-thinking and innovative providers of services for people with diverse and often complex needs. Their services are generally funded by social services departments of local authorities or by primary care trusts but they are committed to the principle that the people to whom we provide our services have choice and control over how those services are delivered.
They are care led, meaning all of their services are provided with sensitivity and are individualised to the needs of the people within the local community. A sustainable financially stable company with a good reputation.
They are currently delivering around 750 hours / week.
This role is based at their branch in Southport and you will be overseeing the coordination of weekly rotas for the delivery of around 750 hours / week. You will be working alongside an additional care coordinator and supporting the branch manager assisting with the positive progression of the branch. You will be required to carry out all checks on staff, including supervisions, appraisals, recruitment and DBS enquiries and also ensure CQC compliance throughout the whole branch, amongst other duties.
This role is a full-time role, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be a strong & experienced care co-ordinator and have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care. You will have exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills to support a fast-paced environment. Experience with rota management is essential and you will have coordinated at least 700+ hours of care. You will have excellent leadership qualities, ability to time manage effectively and a desire to work to high standards and push yourself to better both the company and yourself. You will have the ability to come in and hit the ground running working off your own initiative. You will also have a good understanding of CQC compliance and be able to identify any areas for improvement and maintain good scores across the board. In return, you will work for a company that values their employees, offers future progression opportunities, excellent training and annual pay reviews amongst other benefits.
Experience in using Malinko call monitoring system would also be desirable, however not essential.
You will also have a good knowledge of the Liverpool area and own your own car with a clean license.
£19,760K + paid on-call + excellent benefits
