Support Manager Learning Disabilities
£30,000 per annum, plus car allowance
My client is a national charity committed to providing local solutions to meet individual support needs. They offer a wide range of high quality and person centred support services to people with learning disabilities, mental health support needs and elderly.
An extremely rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced support manager to work with the Regional Manager to assist and develop their supported living services. The post will be either based at the regional office or home based.
As a Support Manager you will line manage the Supported living Team Leaders within an identified geographical patch and motivate your team to deliver high quality person centred support in accordance with legislation, regulatory and contractual requirements. You will be responsible for building new relationships, establishing effective systems and developing high performing teams will be critical to your success in this role.
You will be an excellent manager and have experience in providing services for people with a learning disability with sound knowledge of the social care sector, and a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards it).
You must hold a full valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle and participate in an on call rota.
In return you will receive a starting salary of £30,000 and receive extensive high quality training, support and supervision.
