Residential Care Home Manager
Salary: Up to £38,000 - £42,000
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Home Manager to work within a modern residential home catering for the elderly and people living with dementia. This is with a leading provider who has care homes across the North West and pride themselves in offering high quality person-centred care. This opportunity is based within a medium sized home close to the Manchester area.
As the Care Home Manager you will manage all aspects in the day-to-day running of the Care Home. Promoting a caring environment which provides residents with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and rights to privacy, independence and choice are met. You will be leading the team within the home which includes the deputy and carers.
Assessing the individual needs of residents.
Ensuring the smooth running of the home.
Managing staff and rotas to create an efficient staff team.
Responsible for understanding and complying with statutory and legal requirements relevant throughout the home, including HACCP, COSHH, Health and Safety, all aspects of the Health & Social Care Act to maintain a safe environment throughout the home.
Build the care homes business and work within its marketing and sales.
The successful candidate will need to be:
•An experienced manager/ Relevant qualifications NVQ Level 4/ 5 or working towards.
•Good understanding of CQC and regulations.
•Thorough knowledge of working within an elderly and dementia environment.
•Strong leadership skills and staff management
What you will receive in return:
•An excellent salary of up to £42,000.
•Bonus+ various other benefits.
•Monday-Friday: 8-5pm Hours (42.5 hours).
