We are seeking residential support workers, waking night support workers and shift leaders to work within registered children's home with children who have complex needs and may have autistic spectrum disorders (ASD).
Communication and personal interaction is key to this role. You will be providing personal support and guidance to learners and young people both within a care and educational environment.
You will be rewarded with a comprehensive package as well as support and training.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
" Have a QCF Level 3 Diploma in relevant care/children and young people related area/equivalent or higher
" Ideally have previous experience working with young people with learning difficulties and/or complex needs.
" Be flexible and resourceful
" Be able to make decisions
" Be able to problem solving
" Be emotionally resilient
" Have a strong can-do attitude
" Have effective communication skills
" Have highly developed organisational skills
For all roles we require a minimum of two references. References provided must cover the last 5 years.
Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
