I am working on behalf of a reputable elderly service provider that requires a Sheltered Housing Manager for their new supported living service based in Blackburn, Lancashire.

The Branch/The role:
This is a service that has been running for a while now, with around 10 office staff, however this role is brand new. You will be based at their Blackburn office in Lancashire and you will be required to effectively manage 7 sites around Blackburn and Darwin areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining good levels of training & staff development, ensuring high levels of compliance are achieved, overseeing the promotion and marketing of the services, ensuring budgetary control amongst other duties.
This role is a full-time role, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be a strong & experienced individual within the residential or supported living sector, ideally as a manager and have a proven successful track record within residential care homes or supported living of the elderly sector. You will have excellent business sense, with the ability to take the company to the next level and a desire to work to high standards. You will be a resilient individual with excellent leadership qualities and be able to develop your team in a competitive area. NVQ level 4 or 5 is desirable or working towards this.
