I am currently working with one of the UK's leading private healthcare providers to find an experienced Home Manager in Rochdale to run their large, prestigious and purpose built Nursing Home. The position has arisen due to natural growth and progression within the company.
This position would be perfect for candidates located around the North Manchester, Tameside and East Lancashire area.
My Client are a leading private healthcare organisation and provider of residential and nursing services specialising in dementia, elderly and mental health care. The organisation has an excellent reputation within the care community with their state of the art nursing homes and high standards of care. They have services across the UK and are continuing to develop.
Within the role of the Care Home Manager you will oversee the entire service working alongside the Senior Management team to ensure the home is up to their high standards. This is a hands on role and you will be expected to market, promote, advertise and recruit as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities. You will lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to your residents.
The Care Manager is responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of care is delivered to all resident's by ensuring compliance with company policies, practices and procedures. You will be responsible for your support team of Clinical Leads and Deputy Manager and ensuring all staff are trained to provide the best possible service.
As Home Manager you will forge excellent ties and relationships with all suppliers and governing bodies to ensure the home meets all external regulatory obligations (CQC) so a good understanding of CQC standards are essential to this role. You will manage all aspects of the home, identifying new business opportunities, effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas
• Experienced as a manager of a CQC registered service provision for older people and dementia care with at least 3 years experience in a senior management capacity.
• Demonstrable strong leadership skills in managing large teams of people.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Nursing Qualification RGN/RMN.
• Strong influencing and communication skills.
• Strong experience working with Dementia and within elderly care.
