Purosearch are currently looking for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead and develop a stable and longstanding Care and Nursing team in the delivery of high-quality care and service in this established nursing home. This home is part of a small and personable family run business and provides residential, nursing and dementia care for older people. The home has a welcoming and homely atmosphere and my client focus on enabling people to maintain their independence and control over their lives. the family have successfully owned and managed the Home for 30 years and have staff who have been with them for over 20 years.
As the Nursing Home Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. The Home Nursing Home Manager will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.
The Nursing Home Manager will be expected to provide strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. The Nursing Home Manager will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents' care and social needs are met in a person-centred way. The Nursing Home Manager will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, so you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.
As Home Manager you will engage with the Owners to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You must also ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including CQC, health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.
