    Job Description

    Home Manager Care Home (dementia nursing) Good CQC  

    Preston,    

    Lancashire  

       

    Salary: £40k - £42k per annum + KPI bonus & benefits  

       

    *Must have Home Management experience*  

    *Preferably nurse qualified (RGN/RMN/RNLD), not essential*  

       

    Remit    

    Compass Associates are working alongside a stable and highly respectable care provider who own a remit of care homes across the UK. They are looking for a Home Manager to run a compliant service in Preston, Lancashire. The provider own a small remit of homes in the North West and boast compliant CQC reports in all the homes. They are financially strong and have been very successful in provide high quality care.    

         

    The home provides dementia nursing, dementia residential care for elderly people. It is currently compliant with CQC requirements and is fully staffed, which has proven to be a key to its success. The home has high levels of occupancy and holds strong relationships with external stakeholders such as; CQC, LA, local community, district nurses etc…    

       

    The Regional Manager would like to see this home progress further and is looking for a new Home Manager who can lead a team from day one and bring in new, fresh ideas.    

       

    The Candidate    

    The successful candidate must have experience as a Deputy or Home Manager within a care home environment that provides nursing care for elderly people. My client is looking for a current Deputy or Home Manager who can maintain high standards in the home. The candidate must be experienced and competent in leading a staff team, improving standards of care and building positive relationships with residents, relatives and other external stakeholders.    

       

    This is a great opportunity for a current Home Manager who is looking to join a successful company and feels they have what it takes to takes to run a successful care home. Or a Deputy Manager who is looking for their first challenge as a Home Manger.    

       

    For this role, we cannot accept candidates from a domiciliary, supported living, extra care or housing background. You must have experience managing within elderly care that provides dementia care.    

       

    *Must have Home Management experience*  

    *Preferably nurse qualified (RGN/RMN/RNLD), not essential*  

       

    Requirements

    Passion for elderly dementia care

    Current Home Management experience

    Competent at leading care staff

    Good knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements

    Interview Process    

    The interview process will be in a 2 stage format.     

       

    Stage One - Face to face (Informal meeting): Regional Manager    

    Stage two - Face to face (CBI and final review): Regional Manager & Operations Director  

       

    Summary    

    My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to elderly nursing care, where the successful candidate is able to lead and inspire a team to provide high quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to circa £40k - £42k per annum + bonus & benefits.
