A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an RNLD/RMN Manager in North Birmingham for a fully compliant learning disability service. My client is a private care provider with a fantastic reputation within the care industry. The service provides 24 hour nursing care for adults, of both sexes, aged 18 to 65 with learning disabilities, mental health problems, autistic spectrum disorders, personality disorders and associated physical disability. They have a fantastic senior management team and are keen to appoint a manager that can grow with the services and also the company. The company has an excellent reputation within the area and consistently strive to ensure the provision of the highest quality service to their Service Users.
As Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the services. Your key responsibilities will centre around management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies.
The successful candidate will have solid management experience in a senior role ideally within the care sector. You should have a sound understanding of health care delivery in the private sectorNHS and be able to communicate effectively. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the unit ensuring that targets are achieved whist providing the highest standards of care.
• Currently registered RMN/RNLD
• Relevant experience working in a clinical management role
• Experience of working in a multi professional environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of quality, governance issues and care standards• Computer literate, word processing spreadsheet and database skills.
