Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours.
We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager in Woking, Surrey to manage 2 Supported Living services for 5 people who have a mild learning disability and a Young Person’s Transition service. The service users there enjoy an active lifestyle and are supported to reach their full potential in all areas of their lives with a view to moving on to more independent living.
An experienced social care professional, you will have a strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to people with different needs and a passion for doing so. You will have experience of management of registered or supported living services including appraisals, coaching, performance management, managing budgets and financial information, as well as ensuring an inclusive working environment.
You will have excellent communication and people management skills , have the ability to work well with families, and have knowledge and a good understanding of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework with a proven track record of quality assurance and service improvement.
You will ideally hold a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care, or have a willingness to work towards this, alongside a passion of Person-Centred Active Support.
This role may involve driving and as such it is desirable that the successful applicant has a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
The salary for the role is £29,729 - £31,234 depending on experience.
