Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours.
We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to manage a Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities in Cheam, near to Sutton.
An experienced social care professional, you will have a strong understanding of best practice in delivering support to people with different needs and a passion for doing so. You will have experience managing residential or supported living services including appraisals, coaching, performance management, managing budgets and financial information, as well as ensuring an inclusive working environment.
This role may involve driving and as such it is desirable that the successful applicant has a valid driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
You will ideally have excellent communication and people management skills and have knowledge and a good understanding of current CQC regulations (including KLOE) and compliance within the new framework with a proven track record of quality assurance and service improvement. You should also be able to delegate and manage an Assistant Service Manager.
You will ideally hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), alongside a passion of Person-Centred Active Support.
The salary for the role is £29,500.
