Faversham, Kent, England
I am recruiting for a Team Lead to join a Residential Children's Home near Faversham. This is a unique opportunity for an energetic individual to further develop their career with a supportive and proactive company in a very rewarding sector.
The role is full-time (39 to 45hrs) working on a rotational shift pattern with earlys, lates and weekend work, the salary is up to £25,271 p/a incl. sleep-ins. They also include these benefits with their competitive salary; a generous annual leave entitlement with comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training. There are various online benefits and cash back rewards, a cycle to work scheme and SMART Childcare Vouchers.
This home currently is seeking an enthusiastic, caring healthcare professional to take responsibility for the well being of their young residents in a therapeutic environment. It is essential that you have a passion for working with and changing the lives of young people and children. You must have had a full driving licence for three years and preferably, you will already have experience working with children with EBD and/or associated complex needs. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. You will also be in possession of your level 3 diploma.
Your most important quality is the depth of your care and passion for positively affecting the lives of Children and Young People who truly need help.
The client I am currently representing is an established residential and educational provider who provides therapeutic support to children and young adults with EBD and Learning Disabilities. They achieve this by employing and growing their highly experienced and qualified staff team through a great package of support and training, including the chance to develop your career.
You would work with the multi-experienced team and their consultant clinical psychologist to provide care and compassion in a safe, secure but stimulating environment for up to 5 children and young adults with EBD.
