Service Manager – Ipswich and Stowmarket

Our client provides, Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to manage Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Services across Ipswich and Stowmarket. The service consists of 4 supported living services and 9 outreach services providing support to a total of 28 people.
In this role you will motivate and inspire your team to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching and leadership by example. Acting as a role model and leader in the delivery of active support you will empower the people supported to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations.
Working collaboratively with the other members of the Service Leadership Team you will help to oversee and manage the smooth running of this service including rostering, support plans, staff deployment and managing budgets.
You will have excellent communication and people management skills and have knowledge and a good understanding of current CQC regulations and compliance within the new framework with a proven track record of quality assurance and service improvement.
You will ideally hold a Level 5 diploma in Health and Social Care, or have a willingness to work towards this. Alongside a passion of Person-Centred Active Support.
Having experience of supporting people with an Acquired Brain Injury or those whose behaviour may challenge is essential.
Due to the nature of this role holding a full valid driving licence and having access to your own vehicle is essential.
The salary for the role is £25,000 plus benefits.
