Our client is a rapidly expanding independent provider of quality care home services, who are achieving great success which is driven by a passion to provide quality services, supported by excellent staff, and the ability to really understand what the local market requires.
We are delighted to have been asked to provide suitable candidates for a new and exciting opportunity within the group. This new role is for an Area Manager who will be responsible for a growing portfolio of homes which have just been, or are about to be opened in the South East area
Your core responsibilities will be to provide support to and develop the services with your management team, to ensure maximum occupancy and financial targets are met, within the quality standards expected by this forward thinking high end provider. You will assist in the commissioning of new homes and ensure the path to quality compliance, reputation and profitability is completed as smoothly and quickly as possible
This is an exciting and unique opportunity, but in order for our client to consider your application you will need to evidence the following
* RGN / RMN and currently registered with NMC. and
* Diploma level 5 management qualification
* Experience of multi site management of care homes or health units
* Experience or working within policies and procedures and CQC
* Advanced clinical knowledge and skills, with ability to manage
complex clinical and operational situations
* In depth knowledge of the Care standards Act, National Minimum
standards and nursing codes of practice.
* Budget management experience within strict legislative and financial
* A positive communicator, able to work under pressure and manage
This role would offer an ideal opportunity to a Nurse Manager with multi-site experience, or perhaps a candidate who has worked as part of CQC
