    Salary: £30k - £35k per annum

    Remit

    Compass Associates are working alongside a high quality private care provider who owns a remit of elderly care services across the UK. They are looking for a Home Manager to manage a medium sized care home in Burnley, Lancashire. The company operate a number of homes in the North West, that are all rated 'good' with CQC!

     

    This is a medium sized care home that provides residential and dementia care for elderly people. It's a beautiful service that has recently undergone a huge turnaround project and now proudly boasts a 'good' rating after a recent CQC inspection. The home operates high occupancy levels and has a loyal and highly skilled staff team who have shown true professionalism over the years to turn a corner and ensure the home provides excellent care.

     

    The Candidate

    The successful candidate must have at least 1 years experience as a Home Manager within a care home environment that provides residential and dementia care for elderly people. My client is looking for a new Home Manager who can motivate a staff team, maintain good standards of care and can sustain a healthy running business.

     

    For this role, we cannot accept candidates from a domiciliary, supported living, extra care or housing background. You must have experience managing within the care home sector.

     

    *Preferably have Home Management experience*

     

    Requirements

    At least 1 years experience as a Registered Care Home Manager

    NVQ 4/5 in social care management or equivalent

    Strong people management skills

    Good analytical and problem solving skills

    Engaging communication skills

    Experience a CQC inspection as Registered Manager (preferable, not essential)

     

    Location

    This role is based in Burnley, Lancashire and is commutable from Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Greater Manchester, Manchester, Rochdale, Keighley and Huddersfield.

     

    Interview Process

    The interview process will be in a 2 stage format.

     

    Stage One: Face to face Informal (CV review ): Regional Manager

    Stage two: Face to face formal (CV review and CBI): Regional manager & Operations Director

     

    Summary

    My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to elderly residential care, where the successful candidate is able to lead and inspire a team to provide high quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to £35k per annum.
