I am currently working on behalf of a national, well recognised and market leading Healthcare provider who are currently seeking to appoint a General Home Manager into one of their Private specialist Homes in Hull. This is a great opportunity to manage and develop a team in the delivery of high quality care and service.
The service provides specialist care for young adults with various physical disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, stroke etc, as well as frail older people. Their person-centred care services also include 24-hour nursing care, physiotherapy and care for Huntingdon's and Parkinson's.
The Home Manager will be clinically astute with excellent understanding of physical disabilities, and will ensure a high quality delivery of clinical care to the residents. They will proactively promote the home in the local community and build good relationships with stakeholders, commissioners and other external agents. The Manager must be an excellent communicator who will promote continuous improvement and person centred care. They must also ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
General Home Manager must have:
* Proven track record in managing and motivating clinical staff
* Sound knowledge of the regulatory changes effecting the industry
* A valid nursing qualification, ideally RGN with current PIN
* A solid understanding of physical disabilities
* Commitment to delivering high quality, holistic nursing care
* Circa £40-45k salary depending on experience
