Care Manager – Residential Home
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Permanent Contract – Full Time, Core Hours are Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm)
In Touch Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a quality-driven care home provider to recruit an experienced Care Manager to become part of their fantastic team in Leicester.
The care home has been beautifully designed and built to a high specification to provide excellent standards of care to older people with dementia and residential care needs.
As Care Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home is CQC compliant and operates smoothly on a day to day basis. You will oversee the management of a large staff team and provide mentorship and support to ensure exceptional standards of person centred care are being delivered to all residents.
In this senior role, you will take the lead in all aspects of care within the home, including the standards and quality of care, recruitment and training and communication with the team. Duties will include carrying out detailed quality audits, staff supervision and appraisals, managing staff performance and rota management.
The successful candidate will be a forward thinking and motivated Care Manager who has a solid background working in a supervisory position in Care Homes that provide care to older people. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, along with an in-depth working knowledge of current care legislations and CQC expectations.
Completion of NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent will be highly advantageous.
