    About the role

    This charity has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as a Support Worker in Bristol, Wiltshire and Somerset. These opportunities are offered on a casual basis, within a community setting.

    Their casual arrangements are very flexible and can fit around your life. They are looking for people with a wide range of availability and have shifts available in the days, nights, evenings and weekends.

    As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible - helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.

    This charity also supports people to take part in some of their amazing arts and wellbeing activities - from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

    Being a Support Worker here can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles.

    A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.

    About you

    Experience is not necessarily required for this role as they are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

    Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.

    The selection process aims to make sure that the role is right for you and you are right for them. It involves completing an online application form, taking part in a value based interview / assessment process and visiting one of their services.
