This is a large domiciliary care company that delivers bespoke healthcare services to clients in their own homes and healthcare establishments throughout the UK.
With over offices throughout the UK, they have an established and respected presence in many local communities. They work closely with the support organisations within those communities, to ensure that they provide the home care services that local residents are most in need of.
The organisations they liaise with range from small community support groups to larger and more formally structured organisations such as the NHS, HSC Trusts and social services. These relationships help to keep in close touch with local needs and help the local organisations to keep abreast of the specialist services available to local residents.
The Branch/The role:
This is a completely new branch which requires a Registered branch manager with a track record of high performance who can set up the branch from scratch. Working hand in hand with the owner to start up, staff and grow this new domiciliary care service. To lead and expand, provide supervision, specific clinical advice and support to team leaders ensuring high quality management of services at all times that are specific to the needs and requirements of each person who uses the service. To have a strategic view of all new placements from referral to assessment, service and discharge planning in line with budgetary limitations and organisational strategy. To work with external agencies e.g. purchasers, voluntary sector etc promoting the professional image and increasing client referrals and placements. This post is one of considerable responsibility and confidentiality. Expectations of the post holder to show a sense of ownership for the services and also for the Company's Ethics of Excellence. The role is both strategic and participative in terms of Finance, Quality Audit, Staff Development, Service Development and Contract Compliance. The nature of the job responsibilities may require flexible hours, including some evening and weekend hours, or adjusted beginning and ending times. You are required to work additional hours when authorized and as necessitated by the needs of the business.
You will be a strong registered domiciliary branch manager with previous experience of managing to a high standard. You will have strong commercial acumen with the ability to scope out new clients and grow the business. You will also be a very strong confident leader of staff. You will have commercial experience within domiciliary care and be aware of the bottom line within business.
You will have strong previous CQC reports and a proven successful history of growing a business.
Between £29,000 - £39,000 plus bonus.
