    Job Description

    Home Manager Nursing & Dementia Not for profit provider  

    Nantwich,

    Cheshire

     

    Salary: Circa £40k per annum + benefits

    Remit

    Compass Associates are working alongside a highly regarded not-for-profit care provider who owns a remit of care services across the UK. They are looking for a Home Manager to run an elderly care service in Cheshire. The provider owns a large remit of care services across the UK and is recognised for the high levels of quality care given to residents.  

     

    This is a small care home that provides specialist nursing & dementia care for elderly people. The home has recently undergone major improvements and started to build great relationships with CQC, the local authority, local community, local hospitals etc. There is a good staff team in place at the moment and the home boasts high occupancy levels, but there is a need for a leader who can support staff and take the home forward so it's successful in meeting regulatory requirements.

     

    The Candidate

    The successful candidate must have experience as a Home Manager within a care home environment that provides nursing, residential and dementia care for elderly people. My client is looking for a new Home Manager who can motivate a staff team, improve standards of care and build positive relationships with external stakeholders.

     

    For this role, we cannot accept candidates from a domiciliary, supported living, extra care or housing background. You must have experience managing within the care home sector.

     

    *Must have Home Management experience*

     

    Requirements

    Demonstrable track record of CQC compliance as a Registered Care Home Manager

    NVQ 4/5 in social care management or equivalent

    Registered Nurse qualification (desirable)

    Strong people management skills

    Good analytical and problem solving skills

    Engaging communication skills

    Ability to forge effective working relationships internally and externally  

     

    Location

    This role is based in Nantwich, Cheshire and is commutable from Northwich, Chester, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe

     

    Interview Process

    The interview process will be in a 2 stage format.

     

    Stage One - Face to face (CV review, CBI & walk around): Regional Manager & HR Business Partner

    Stage two: - Face to face (final informal review): Regional Manager and Operations Director

     

    Summary

    My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to elderly nursing, residential and dementia care, where the successful candidate is able to lead and inspire a team to provide high quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of Circa £40k per annum + benefits.
