Our client is a well regarded and established provider of Nursing and Residential services who specializes in older peoples' services and dementia care. They hold a portfolio which stretches across the UK and we are delighted to be working with them to find a Peripatetic Manager for their organisation, who is happy to travel throughout an area north and east of Birmingham
Working from a home base,the role of Peripatetic Manager is pivotal to a successful care provider. The Peripatetic Manager will form an integral part of the management team in ensuring the groups homes achieve good grades and are run to a high standard.
Duties will include:
- Overseeing the management of homes on a temporary basis during
periods of absence from the Home Managers
- Supporting the managers to achieve compliance and improve grades
- Trouble shooting in under performing homes.
During these periods you will ensure the smooth day to day running of the homes in terms of quality of care, finance and operational and staff management and you will report directly to the Operations Director for your region.
The ideal candidate
As the ideal candidate for this exciting Peripatetic Manager role, you must
- Have experience as Home Manager
- Have a Nursing qualification
- Have experience in troubleshooting or developing new services
- Have Multi Site Home Management experience
- Have a strong background in older people services and/ or dementia
- Be fully aware of CQC standards
In addition to displaying excellent business skills
- You will have good commercial awareness
- You will be smartly presented with a positive and influential personality
- You must be a car driver who is able to travel when needed, and
spend sometimes extended time away from home
This position would suit an experienced Nursing Home Manager, Matron Manager, Nurse Manager, Multi site Home Manager, Peripatetic Manager, Troubleshooting home manager or a commissioning home manager looking for a new challenge.
