On behalf of a reputable and leading care organisation I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a lovely service based near to Hove in East Sussex. My client prides themselves on doing everything they can to improve the health and well-being of the individuals they support and as a team they are focused on building positive outcomes.
This small service is based close to Brighton in East Sussex ,the care organisation has an excellent reputation within the community and provides specialist care for Younger Adults with Learning & Physical Disabilities. As the successful Deputy Manager you will be required to support the Registered Manager to deliver effective operational leadership, within defined areas of responsibility, contributing to the strategic leadership and direction of the service.
I am looking for an exceptionally strong experienced and committed Deputy Manager who has the ability to provide exceptional management within both a rewarding and challenging service who can help to develop and move this service forward.
The ideal candidate:
• NVQ Level 3 /4 or equivalent
• 2-3 years experience in a management/leadership role
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Experience of working in a multi professional environment
• Strong leadership/management skills
• Experience within a Learning Disabilities service
• Comprehensive understanding of quality, governance issues and care standards
