    Job Description

    Turnaround Manager Care Homes (Nursing & Residential)    

    Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire  

    North West    

         

    Salary: Up to £55'000 per annum

    Compass Associates are proud to be working with private care provider who own a portfolio of care home services across the UK. This is a highly reputable company who are looking to expand in the near future and are keen to add to their talented group of employees.     

         

    My client is looking to recruit for a Turnaround Manager to cover nursing & residential care home services across North West. The group are looking to add an extra 3 Turnaround Managers in the Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire areas. The role will include supporting, mentoring and managing staff within a Care Home that is failing in relation to CQC requirements for roughly 3 - 9 months. As well as, improving standards and ensuring that the home runs smoothly whilst the company look to bring in a new Home Manager.  

     

    You will NOT be expected to become the Registered Manager of any of the services.    

         

    The role will also rely on the Turnaround Managers to support and guide current Home Managers that are running homes that need extra support. Here, you will act as a Quality/Support Manager within the home and help to improve standards, in line with CQC requirements.      

         

    The Candidate    

    This role is an exciting opportunity for a current Peripatetic / Turnaround / Home Manager that wants to join a company that can develop your career and provide good quality care for its residents. The candidate is required to have previous Care Home Management experience with exposure to CQC inspections and is currently full compliant. The perfect candidate will have had experience of going into a failing care home and helping it improve so that they are compliant with CQC requirements.  

         

    The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Home Management and will understand how to help other Home Managers and staff to improve/sustain high standards. You will need good relationship management skills and ensure people are cared for in the best way possible.      

         

    Requirements

    Experience working in Care Home Management

    RMA level 4 / NVQ level 5 Management

    Good relationship management skills

    Exposure to and Compliant with CQC

    Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)

    Completed turnaround projects

     

    Location    

    This role is to cover homes across the North West. This role is commutable from Warrington, Liverpool, Southport, Preston, Burnley, Wigan, Bolton, Northwich, Manchester and Greater Manchester    

         

    Interview Process   

    The interview process will be in a two stage format.    

         

    Stage One - Face to face (Cv review, CBI and walk around): Regional Manager and Operations Director    

    Stage Two - Face to face (Informal Interview review): Managing Director

         

    Summary  

    My client is seeking an experienced Peripatetic / Turnaround / Home Manager with exposure to management within elderly Care Home services, where the successful candidate is able to lead and support Home Managers and staff. In exchange, my client are offering a salary of up to £55,000 plus benefits.
