Area Manager residential care homes (elderly)
Salary: £35k - £40k per annum

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a private care provider who owns a small sized portfolio of residential care home services across Lancashire. The provider is looking to grow within the next 10 years, to increase their portfolio by 10 more care services. They are financially stable and all their homes offer high quality care to residents.
This is an Area Manager role to cover a small sized remit of care home services across Lancashire. Within the role you will be expected to:
Support Managers through the day to day running of the home
Support Managers on CQC inspections
Conduct a weekly admin report
Conduct weekly audits, surrounding management of quality, medications, staff and finances
Build relationship with other external stakeholders in the area (local authorities, local community, families, CQC, CCG, hospitals, district nurses etc…)
Due to the potential for growth within the business, there will be a Director of Nursing position in the next 3 - 5 years, after completion of service development.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a current Home / Area Manager that is looking to develop their career into a multisite position. The candidate is required to have previous exposure to CQC inspections within an elderly care home.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in multisite management and will have a full understanding of the tasks that come with the role. We need someone who is extremely confident in their ability to run a successful home and has excellent organisational skills (this is key!).
My client is looking for someone who has an eye for detail and can work well with Home Managers across all of the care homes in their remit.
For this role, we cannot accept candidates from a domiciliary, supported living, extra care or housing background.
Experience working in Turnaround / Peripatetic / Regional Management
Exposure to CQC inspections
Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)
Care Home background (essential)
This role is to cover homes across the Lancashire area. This role is commutable from Blackpool, Preston, Southport, Wigan, Blackburn, Manchester, Bury, Burnley and other areas in the North West
The interview process will be in a one stage format.

My client is seeking an Area Manager with exposure to management within elderly care home services, where the successful candidate is able to support and advise Home Managers in producing a positive home for elderly people to live in. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
