Manor Lodge opened in 2009 and is a very modern and attractive purpose-designed care home with a welcoming ‘village’ feel. This wonderful 120 suite home is located just a short walk away from Chelmsford town centre in Essex. One of the first things you’ll notice about Manor Lodge is that the home is very light and bright – we have large windows which let lots of light in and offer excellent views too.
The team at Manor Lodge are dedicated and hardworking experts in supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
The Home Manager at Manor Lodge is looking for a strong manager with extensive care leadership experience who is passionate about best practice and is determined to drive continuous improvement to enhance residents’ quality of life. Due to the homes needs and requirements, we would be looking for a manager who has good background working within residential and nursing homes. .
What you’ll do
Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality care
You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it’s vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
Assist in managing a large team of healthcare professionals
Care plan management
New resident assessments
Liaising with the LA, CCGs and CQC
Who you are
A qualified healthcare professional, you will be able to demonstrate a strong record of leading teams delivering care for older people within a residential environment
Come from a healthcare background in providing personalised centred care
A passionate and caring individual who takes pride in their work
Capable and confident character who can hit the ground running
Proficient in building lasting relationships with colleagues, residents and their relatives and getting the most out of every member of our care team.
