Help Train & Develop ASYE's and Social Workers
A Local Authority based in London is seeking experienced Social Work Practitioners to help develop and train their workforce. This is an excellent opportunity to take a step away from holding cases and instead help support and develop your junior colleagues such as ASYE's.
This assignment is based within a Local Authority which is rated as "Good" by Ofsted and is currently the highest performing LA in the region. Key elements of the Ofsted report included a Excellent Senior Management team who have a clear vision as to what they want the services to achieve. There is also an excellent support structure which permeates of levels of Children's services, with Social workers easily able to access managers for supervision where necessary. Furthermore caseloads in the Local Authority are lower than the average for the region (Around 18).
As this is a non case holding role you will not have to work late evenings and there is a greater degree of flexibility in the way that you work; you will be able to work from home and/or work a compressed week if necessary.
To be considered for this post you should have experience at a Senior Practitioner level where you have helped support junior colleagues. You should also have excellent knowledge of Court Work.
