Support Worker - Full time - Kenway Court

Right now, we’re looking for community-minded people who share our passion, values and dedication to join us at Kenway Court in Southend-on-Sea. Kenway Court is one of our registered care homes that supports 24 adults with physical and/or learning disabilities.
You will be required to help people live an independent life, supporting with personal care needs, participating in community activities and have an ability to work in a person centred way; to help develop risk assessments that are reviewed and updated regularly. Being able to drive is essential, as many of the people supported at Kenway Court enjoy participating in community day services and activities.
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to connect and establish relationship to be successful in this role you will have:
• Knowledge of key legislation relating to health and safety in the workplace
• The ability to interact and identify communication and language needs, wishes and preferences
• The ability to recognize and reduce barriers in communication
• Knowledge of Person Centred Plans
