TIME Recruitment is working alongside one of the UK's largest health & social care providers in selecting a diligent and compassionate Home Manager to lead the team at a 70-bed service in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. The home - situated around eight miles from the centre of Edinburgh - offers a range of care packages to elderly individuals with residential and nursing care needs.
The service's last Inspectorate report in 2016 was not the most positive and the home continues to face challenges. As a Care Home Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth operation of the home on a daily basis. We are looking for someone with a proven track record within the care sector which can be evidenced through positive Inspectorate/CQC inspection results. You will have a flair for leadership and a real understanding of what quality care looks and feels like. The successful applicant will be in charge of staff retention and recruitment, budgeting, marketing and building relationships with key external bodies, such as social services, doctors and pharmacies.
Putting your nurse training to good use, you will be expected to utilise a range of clinical skills, demonstrating a natural flair for leadership. You will ensure that staffing levels are always maintained at a safe level, and will play an active role in developing and managing the performance of clinical and non-clinical staff.
A valid NMC pin would be beneficial but is not a priority ahead of finding a strong and capable manager with a passion for elderly care.

---PAY & BENEFITS---
The basic salary for the role is £50,000, supplemented by annual bonuses worth as much as 25% of your salary. On top of this, our client is offering a £5,000 welcome bonus to all new managers, along with:
