Rehabilitation Assistants and Senior Rehabilitation Assistants
Thames Ditton, Surrey, England
Rehab Assistant and Senior Rehab Assistant (NIGHTS ONLY)
This service is homely and reassuring, fostering a positive and motivational attitude towards recovery. We provide intensive personalised brain injury rehabilitation for adults who are progressing along the rehabilitation pathway following an Acquired Brain Injury.
Nestled in a quiet residential suburb of Thames Ditton in Surrey, This service is purpose built with seven single occupancy bedrooms, mostly en-suite. Our residents can make their rooms very much their own, choosing the decoration and having their own favourite belongings around them. We encourage our residents to use the fully accessible kitchen to practice routine daily living skills, and the lovely gardens create a restful and relaxing environment for residents, their family and friends to enjoy together. During a recent full refurbishment of our award winning building, The services residents helped with specifying the new facilities. These included a rehabilitation gym, a quiet lounge and areas for socialising aimed at preparing residents for future life when they leave. Our residents also have the opportunity of using the 'Independent Living Bedsit' to improve their ability to live more independently, but with the confidence of having 'on call' support from our multidisciplinary team.
