Care Manager wanted for luxury retirement village in Wallington!
Job Title: Care Manager (QCF Level 5)
Location: Wallington, Surrey
Hours: 38.75 hours per week. This will include working alternate weekends
Salary: £30,500 + Bonus + Overtime
*Candidate must have a QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent*
About our Client:
Our client is the UK's leading developer of retirement apartments. This role is based at their established development in Wallington, Surrey. This stunning development has 57 luxury privately-owned apartments, each with either one or two bedrooms.
The team within the complex, provide staffing and management cover- twenty four hours a day, with domestic support and personal care by arrangement to create an environment combining security, comfort and support to the Home owners.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about building a community and enhancing the lives of residents, and who also has a proactive, positive and enthusiastic approach to their work.
As the Care Manager you will have overall responsibility for the day to day operational running of this luxury development. As well as leading, directing and motivating a professional team of around twelve staff. You will be accountable to the local Area Manager. You will need to be registered with the Care Quality Commission to promote the high quality management of domiciliary care services to home owners within the development.

Who We Are Looking For:
To be considered for the role, you will ideally have the following qualifications, skills and experience gained in your recent work history:
- Experience of leading a team and working in a hands-on management role
- A collaborative team-working ethic and a desire to train and enhance your skills
- Experience of working with and understanding the needs of older people
- QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent
- A good understanding of IT systems including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel on occasion to other developments in the same region if required
