This is a great opportunity for a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy Manager to join a reputable company, with a passion for providing the highest quality care and residential services for the elderly and people with dementia.
Our client is a small, well-established, independent group of very high quality residential care homes for older people, specialising in dementia care.
Their senior management team has been involved in care since 1999 and work in partnership with staff, residents, family and social workers.
The Owner and area manger provide active support and involvement in the business and are quick to make decisions and are always open to suggestions on improving the service.
Individuality is at the heart of our clients care and they ensure personal choice and family wishes are respected.
Our Client provides on-going training for staff which in turn ensures a high standard of care to residents.
They know choosing a care home is a difficult decision, and pride themselves on providing homely facilities without an institutional feel.
Situated in the town of Nelson, Lancashire, The residential home is a modern purpose-built 30 bedded care home with 1.5 acres of gardens. The home offers a range of care including Dementia and Residential care.
Residents have a choice of two lounges which feature comfortable and specially designed furnishings. They have a range of bedrooms to choose from which are all well-equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated offering a choice of views.
The Chefs pride themselves in knowing the tastes of the Residents and prepare a choice of home cooked, fresh and nutritional meals. They also cater for any dietary and cultural needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a current registered manger or deputy manager (nursing or residential) that is looking to make the next step in their career.
This is the kind of role that would be suitable for either a relatively inexperienced manager or deputy manager, or someone more experienced, who wants to do a less pressured job.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has some previous registered manager or deputy manager experience
- Has at least done their NVQ lv 4 and is working towards RMA or social care degree.
- Has experience of caring for elderly residents with dementia
- Possess the necessary skills/experience and qualifications to become the CQC registered
- Is flexible and committed
- This is a Full-time role (40 contracted hours per week). You would have to flexible and you may have to work the occasional weekend, such is the nature of a registered manger position.
- £25K basic salary + bonus (£25-26K package)
