Outstanding opportunity for experienced Nurse to take on the role of Home Manager within a well-established, highly reputable nursing home in Bramhall, Stockport.
This happy, friendly and welcoming 21-bed home, which is overseen by a highly experienced care provider driven by ensuring outstanding levels of person-centred care throughout the home, offers comprehensive residential and nursing care services to its elderly residents, some of whom have dementia, within a quiet, desirable location offering good-quality, up-to-date facilities.
Assuming the role of Registered Manager for the Home, the successful candidate will lead by example in delivering exceptional nursing care to the home’s residents, whilst at the same time, and with the support of the provider, ensuring the successful operational performance of the home.
Alongside day-to-day nursing duties, key responsibilities of the role will include:
- providing strong leadership to the nursing and care staff team
- maintaining excellent relationships with outside agencies and other stakeholders, with a view to consistently achieving good occupancy levels within the home
- driving quality standards throughout the home, to ensure it consistently meets all fundamental regulatory requirements as set out by the Care Quality Commission.
This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals keen to move into a first management role within the nursing/care home sector in a supportive, highly care-focused environment.. As such, applicants should be experienced RGN/RMN’s, with proven leadership and people management skills and ideally a relevant management qualification.
Outstanding communication, team-working and leadership skills are all essential, as is significant experience of working in a supervisory capacity within elderly care settings. Furthermore, a good working knowledge of dementia is highly desirable and candidates should also be commercially aware, self-motivated individuals with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
