Role: Service Manager
I am currently recruiting for a Service Manager for a well respected nursing home in Whitby.
My client is a Nursing Home which provides residential and nursing care to the elderly and those with Dementia. All provision is tailored to the individual and regularly monitored for developments. With an approach that always considers dignity and respect, the friendly team look to have a positive impact, both on care needs and the daily lifestyle of each client.
My client is seeking a strong, experienced individual with drive and commitment who is looking for a new exciting challenge. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years managerial experience in an elderly residential environment as a Service Manager and have good leadership skills. It is also essential to be RGN/RMN qualified with a vaqlid NMC pin. You will be dynamic, sharp and hungry for a challenge with a strong personality. You will continue to maintain the high standards established in this successful care home.
Duties will include:
• Overall responsibility of the home
• Staff management/appraisals/Training
• Care plans/reviews/meetings
In return the successful candidate will receive a fantastic manager's salary of £43,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, along with a 20% bonus scheme. You will also receive childcare vouchers, ongoing training, 27 days annual leave, sick pay and a pension of up to 6% matching contributions.
