My client is looking for a Residential Child Care workers to join their organisation within the Endmoor Area. My client is an expanding residential childcare provider based on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England. They provide high quality, highly nurturing and life changing residential childcare in small homely environments. Their childcare teams are hand picked for experience and compassion and they care deeply about ensuring that each young person we care for has the best possible life chances to grow and develop.

You must have your Level 3 Diploma (QCF) for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent, and an understanding of the legislation underpinning Residential Child Care. This will be day shifts.

You will provide high quality child care practice, within my clients model of an integrated therapeutic approach, across all residential homes. To support the Registered Home Manager to ensure that a therapeutic environment is developed in accordance with the Company’s core values. To ensure efficient and effective service delivery with a view to supporting the positive development of the staff, service and organisation and improved outcomes for every young person. To understand the mission, aims, values, ethos and work to the basic principles. To be part of a professional team providing the care and control of a residential group. You will be responsible for the overall day to day running of the shift, unless on a shift with a Deputy Manager or Unit Manager, when a supportive role to the Deputy Manager/Unit Manager should be undertaken.
