am working on behalf of a very reputable UK wide based client who are looking for an experienced, strong, dynamic Extra Care Scheme Manager for their Elderly Extra Care Apartments based in Cheltenham.

In this role as an Extra Care Manager you will support the delivery of a commercially viable quality Extra Care Service. You will make a real difference to the lives of our elderly residents at our extra care scheme and in the community supporting our vulnerable clients within their own homes, ensuring that legislative, service user, and organisational requirements are met. With proven extensive experience working within domiciliary care and Extra Care housing sectors, you will have an understanding of CQC requirements for domiciliary care services including working knowledge of housing related support.
Recognised as the residents' advocate, your care and support team will look to you for guidance, knowledge and support in providing 24 hour assistance to the residents. From overseeing budgets, to leading NVQ / QCF training and encouraging multi-disciplinary working, you will manage every aspect of running the scheme. You will also have a positive approach to customer care allowing you to promote close working relationships with all our key partners. You will be qualified or with our support, willing to study for the Leadership and Management for Care Services NVQ / QCF Level 5 (or equivalent). Travel may be required for the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable.

You will be a strong manager , registered with CQC and have a proven successful track record within Extra Care Management and/or Domiciliary Branch Management within elderly care. You will have excellent leadership qualities and a desire to work to high standards and push yourself to better both the service and yourself. You will be qualified to Level 4 or 5 in management.
