CARE HOME MANAGER
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven Care Home Manager to join this excellent care group. This company have an excellent reputation for providing person centred care and have an unrivalled reputation in the Care sector they are a national group who looks after their employees. They provide a good bonus scheme paid twice yearly and excellent holiday and training packages. As a Home Manager you’ll be running the day to day operations as well as taking a more strategic approach to the overall management of the Home.
The home is a medium sized bedded home with residential and nursing care. It specialises in residential nursing.

Care Home Manager - Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
* As the home manager you have responsibility for managing a business with a turnover of £1.5 million, you will lead a team of 65 and be responsible for ensuring the whole facility operates effectively and of course ensuring that you deliver the very best quality care.
*Responsible for budget management.
*Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary.
*Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities and PCT’s for new and existing services.
*You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home, and be an excellent manager of staff.
Care Home Manager - skills required:

*Proven Home Management experience.
*Nurse qualification desirable
*Minimum NVQ 3 in care
*You will be committed to providing the highest care standards.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills.
*Experience of working in the healthcare sector, be driver and motivated and believe in quality care. Strong leadership and management qualities are essential, as is a dynamic and flexible approach to the role. You must have or be willing to work towards the leadership and management award.
Previously successful candidates have had experience as a Care Home Manager. Candidates can expect a very competitive salary and to work for an excellent ethically sound and successful company in the Care sector. With room for progression within the company.
